I think I need to do some time traveling to remind some people of what they told me I'd be doing for my TAship this semester (i.e., just got an email about this semester's assignment and...uh...why am I not working at the press after the entire press staff--myself included--were told I'd be there?).  Sure, there would be no Daleks or creepy aliens to deal with, but...c'mon.  Seriously.

BTW, I have a new favorite hobby.  Thanks for the DVDs, chiara_suzuka! I'm sure we'll be chatting about the few episodes I've watched already, soonish.  Because it's more fun than Clarissa.  Much more fun than Clarissa.

Though, Clarissa is more fun than nearly dying while driving because some schmuck-in-a-truck (hey, that rhymes!  methinks I'm ready for poetry on Thursday night!) passed me on a curve on a snow-covered, mountain road....  Fun times.

And more random than all of that is seeing and talking to Dr. Black Jeans while in the Weis parking lot in L-burg.  What a crazy random happenstance.  And yup.  I stocked up for the semester today.  To subsequently see if I can again succeed in spending less than $50 a month on groceries for the rest of the semester.

Well, I have some stories to plot out and about a thousand pages to read.  So...more soon!

EDIT:  As soon as I posted this, I got an email saying that there was a mistake in my TA assignment and that I'll still be working in the press.  Maybe it was because I sent out a few emails with the general gist of "What the crap's going on here?"  So, that's taken care of.
