Here's to the first post.
I don't have much to say at the current moment, except that I have about fifteen pages left of Tom Perrotta's The Abstinence Teacher, and I'll post a review of that as soon as I've finished reading the book (shouldn't be all that much longer). I suppose I should summarize some on life: "Spring" break [can we call it "spring" break? The weather has been atrociously bipolar] has been relatively quiet, though Lisa and I have gone through a lot of Cowboy Bebop. Right now, my vote for best character is a tough call between Spike and Ein--I'm having a hard time voting against the little Welsh corgi, especially since he is the most intelligent member of the Bebop crew. Unfortunately, he's still just a dog and therefore lacks Spike's wicked awesome moves.
In the future, expect occasional updates as well as the use of this LiveJournal as a forum for some book reviews [have to practice somewhere, right?]. Also, I'm sure I'll make lots of nerd-tastic references, as if the entire bludgeoning-everybody-to-death-with-the-R ed-Mage-theme bit weren't enough. And you know it's overdone if it requires at least eight hyphens to get your point across.
