So...I'm copying a bunch of mini-dv tapes over to iMovie and then burning DVDs (may not all happen today), and before I start reading A Passage to India, I thought I'd say a few things. I could tell the awkward stories about how one professor started complimenting my beard yesterday or about how another one walked right into me and then grabbed/rubbed my shoulder and asked me if I was okay. Uhm...m'kay. But I think I'll pass.
And before I begin--I have to say to all of my girls that I love all y'all. You're all welcome to wail on Glenndolyn (or to ask after Violet) anytime.
( SU on Tuesday and a Pair of Shoes )
There are several reasons why I love TAing for classes. One of them is the outrageous videos that Alf shows some of his classes. Last Friday, he was telling the seminar class about some of the mythic creatures (elves, pixies, gnomes, etc.) in Norse sagas, and he said, "So these mystic creatures have magical, spiritual powers and can now find work only as the Travelocity gnome." But he showed this YouTube video about the elves and "little people" in Iceland--it's quite funny, so I recommend giving it a view.
And now back to reading E.M. Forster
