I was accosted on the way back to the Garret by two Mormon "missionaries."  In front of a Catholic Church (these slackers pick good territory, ha).  They wore nametags that said innocuous things like "Gary" with "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints" emblazoned beneath.  Almost like a Jesus fastfood restaurant.  "Yes, Gary, I'd like a Super Salvation Burger Combo Meal, God-sized, with a Jumbo/Large Melt Shake."  I could go into detail about how they wanted to "come to [my] house" and "preach to [my] family" because they thought I might "understand the truth."  No, the truth is that Gary, who was talking, was scaring the bejesus out of me because he looked like Bastard shaved and went through a massive weightloss regimen.  You know, Bastard.  From school.  The jackass gloriously lampooned as "Archibald Bastard" in nikeshizu 's brilliant literary triumph.  That Bastard.  Really.  The bejesus--totally scared out of me.

More importantly--will only two people join the call to post their responses to Ultimate Battle Royale #1?  Nathan Fillion, Captain Tightpants, versus Batman, the Dark Knight Detective.  Reply to either this post or the previous RedMage update.  Seriously.  I know you want to.  Either way, I will post the outcome of the viewer vote (currently Mal 2-The Bat 0) in a post tomorrow evening and will provide my own interpretation (not the "right" answer, just how I think it would work out) tomorrow [Friday, 5 September 2008] evening.
