Economic Stimulus, by Siblings

Or, if you call your brother endlessly and never stifle yourself, you can make him pay a $329 phone bill because you have somehow (somehow) used up over 900 minutes on his phone plan by yourself.

Seriously.  I upgraded my plan because I thought Glenn couldn't talk that much.  And maybe it's my fault for just putting him on speaker, setting the phone down, and walking around doing other stuff or reading for classes.  Maybe it's at least partially my fault.  But I've had this conversation with him before, that our free times don't start at the same time, and also:  forty cents a minute for each minute beyond the plan?  Shit adds up damn quick.  Hell, if he called everybody like this, I don't think we'd need an economic stimulus.  Just get him to run the hell out of everybody's cell phone plans.

I would greatly prefer to be sitting down and talking with anybody about life, the universe, and everything.  I would also greatly prefer to play NES games for several hours.  I would also prefer to be reading one of about five different books.  But I need to be writing a little five page essay, as my awesome advisor (no, really, she is quite awesome) put it on Friday, "on something about form in Elizabeth Inchbald's A Simple Story."  I have an idea:  the story seems really straightforward, as does the form, but it's really belieing [insert something here about Catholics being stuck-up paranoid pricks and the shortcomings of women's education in the 18th century].  I think it sounds cunning.  I think I should be fine if I start working on that, say, 9 o'clock or so.  Five pages?  That's about 1.5 hours of work.  And I think it'll still give me enough time to get a little bit of sleep so I can wake up ca. 4 to write, b/c I have to be on campus tomorrow at 7.30.

Also, the E.M. Forster paper from last semester got accepted for a humanities conference being held here in March.

But anybody care to chat at any point?  Sometimes my head feels like it's getting a bit spinny.  You know, too many thoughts banging into each other in the old skull.
